Project update #1

13/5/2020
Yesterday’s Not Here is a musical project to capture the breadth of Pete Shelley’s musical and lyrical genius.

Thanks everyone for your tracks or expressions of interest so far. We’ve had some fantastic contributions already, which reflect Pete’s diverse interests and styles. This is shaping up to be a significant contribution to how Pete’s legacy.

Songs contributed or pledged so far include:

Telephone Operator/Pusher Man/Love You More/Millions Of People (No One Like You)/Twilight/Fiction Romance/You Say You Don’t Love Me/I Look Alone/Homosapien/Tour de France(Give It To Me)

Apologies if I have missed anybody’s contribution so far.

Don’t worry if your choice of song is already taken. It’s about our individual responses to Pete’s work, so different versions of the same song are fine.

We appreciate that getting together and recording is not possible right now, so there’s no production deadline as such until we know better how lockdown will handled in different countries.
